Hi! We will be moving to Kenya on the 2 d of Feb 2012 and are looking for a cottage or hse that has its own compound with security, preferably fenced as we have a dog, something solid and quaint, at the best prices possible! Have noticed that the prices are hi...as opposed to europe.

Hi there, we just moved to Karen this week but it has been difficult to find a property with our budget. The Karen area is better than Runda and better value for money, 4 bedroom house range from Ksh 120,000 to 140,000 . We have viewed many properties in the Karen area and we have contacts . You will be able to find a house/cottage in Karen. Let me know what size you need (2/3 bedrooms)? Furnished or unfurnished? For how long? Budget? This will help narrow down the search.
