Traveling To Nairobi

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rosemarie Reyes, I am a beauty publicist (here in the USA) in my mid 20's.

One of our clients intends on exhibiting at the Beauty and Wellness trade show in Nairobi, one tad bit of concern that I have is it actually safe to travel there considering the current attacks happening.

Some feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Rosemarie

The events at Garissa as you can imagine have been devastating. Garissa is about 6 hours away from Nairobi, closer to the boarder of Somalia. Nairobi where your client is considering holding the trade show is quite safe. There is security everywhere, including the malls.

Of when or if you come you should remain vigilant. Overall you'll be fine, not to mention you'll have an absolute ball in Nairobi.
