looking out the office window I am curious to learn how fellow country people meet here in Kuwait. Got me eye on a pad in Sulmiya (thinks how that is spellt), just awaiting bosses nod. Pray some parties are on the horizon, otherwise will have to visit obtician to maintain rate of book reading. Respect.

I hear ya! I used to go to that Starbucks in Salmiya and just sit there with a book. Otherwise try going to the mall in front of Starbucs. Do it in the morning so you will run into westerners that wake up early. There's a coffeeshop in the bottom floor. I met a lot of people there. Good luck! PS: do bring a book.

Hi there
Would love to have coffee with you when I get to Kuwait. I't seems like it's difficult to meet people over there?? Can't understand why cos there is over a million expats?? Even better if we could share a bottle of WINE!! Is that at all humanly possible over there?? Good luck with the house hunting.
