I have already posted one reply to this and it hasn't appeared!!
Anyway, in Shwaikh, in the area around Ikea, there is the wood souk and they actually make outside furniture to order (if you drive round you will see it, but pls let me know if you need more direction - I will try and locatate them next time I am there, more precisely). This particular furniture is very heavy and I would expect durable, providing you treat it, so you maybe don't want it if you plan to ship it at a later time. I have also asked on the paguro site - community forum for other suggestions as to where you can get the lighter furniture in Kuwait.
