Hi, I am moving to Kwait city in August as I have just gained a position at one of the international schools. With the laws being the way that they are my husband needs to get a job (he is a chef) in order to stay in the country. Any ideas where to find one? We have searched the net and nobody has any chef positions.

Hi - there are so many hotels (50) being built here, he will have no problem getting a job, however finding job vacancies is difficult here unless you are on-site - my suggestion would be to send him in advance for a few days OR to contact the hotels direct through their HR depaprtments. All the international chains have speciality restaurants - what is his area of expertise? Keep looking on here as I will no doubt find some channels for you.

He prefers Italian but has experience in everything from classical french to Australian Fusion. He does love banqueting as well.
