In Kuwait since Sept. and enjoying it except for the socializing- I'd love to meet people (Kuwaitis and expats) interested in hanging out and exploring the city, bicycling, movies (yes, one of the two that are playing at every cinema!), etc.
Or, if someone is looking for an exchange, I can collaborate on creative projects, provide good conversation, informally teach English...
And you could teach me something- Arabic or another language, how to repair cars, how to cook, etc. I'm up for anything.

In Kuwait since birth. Work until 2 pm and dont know what to do next. I can cook arabic dishes and, of course, i can speak arabic. not so keen about going to the movies every week but cycling would help making me lose some weight

Hi Anneliz.
I am considering moving to Kuwait as my fiancee is working there for a contractor. My concern is finding a job there. How difficult is it to find a job there? I have a bachelors degree in business administration with concentrations in real eatate and risk management. My experience has been in mortgage lending, insurance (sales and underwriting) and sales.
Any insight would be appreciated greatly!

I am also new in Kuwait, coming from Europe. Will go back there for about 2 weeks this coming Wednesday. Would love to get together after my return. I am up for biking, movies, exploring the city. So far my fiancee is working here as a contractor, until I found a job there will be plenty of time and hopefully a lot of new people to meet. in a really geeky kind of way, I need to learn to play Mahjong. Was given a beautiful set as a present and feel really bad I never learned to play.
By return, can take you biking, rollerblading and sailing... really keen on arabic classes and learning local cooking, too.

Hi, my husband & I have been living in Kuwait for about 3 years. We do not have any children with us in here and I have different hobbies mostly socializing and game groups weekly. I have been playing Mahjong for about 2.5 years now and I know this game very well. Would like either to join a Mahjong ladies group if there is any vacancy or start gathering the people and organize a group to play once a week.
