Kuwait is a very good place to learn scuba diving. The water is warm, the sea is flat, and there are no sharks.

Contact Mark at Dive Caroline 668 8753 or 371 9289. There is also a Dive Centre at The Palms Beach Club on Gulf Road, and another one in Maiden Hawally. I forget the name. I think it may be Happy Divers.

If you do take up diving, so yourself a favour and book a dive trip in Sharm El Shiekh and Dahab in Egypt. Kuwait air flies direct to Sharm. I can give you more details if you are interested. There is not much to see diving in Kuwait, but is very nice to go off into the Gulf and get away from the heat, and it is a great place to learn diving.

There are several discount airlines including Air Arabia which is based in Sharjah (15 minutes by taxi from Dubai Airport)
