Hi, I am due to join my Husband in Kuwait with a six week old baby and would like to know if any mothers have had their babys immunised (as per UK requirements) whilst in country? My husband has tried asking the question with the New Mowsat but as yet has not had a definitive answer. thanks.

We are going to try to get our baby's vaccinations this week. We thought we could do it at the international clinic, but they told us that we have to go to the government hospital for our area. So far-it seems like no one in this country is sure about how anything in this country works.

This is not a big issue. The government does this for free. All you need to do is take the birth certificate of your baby to the local clinic in your area. They will do the rest and give u schedule for vaccination. Clinic in Salmiya is next to the Sultan Center.
