Can someone please tell me what is the area around Universal American School called? We will have an apt. near the school and are trying to find out what to expect....will there be a gulf view from there? Do most apts. in that area provide internet and have fitness/pool, etc.? Possible links to apartments in walking distance to UAS? Thanks so much!

I do believe the area is called Hawalli.
None of the apartments that schools lease have any exercise rooms.
I would doubt you will have a gulf view. I used to walk down 3th ring road to the gulf. the area, at the end of 3th ring road is one of the prettiest areas.

If you are in Hawalli, It will be a culture shock, however, I lived in Hawalli for a year and miss the area.

Education here is an Education.

I am not totally sure, but I believe that a Canadian woman by the name of Prisilla (?) will be a Principle there
