Hi,
I arrived in Kuwait last week and am settling in slowly but surely.
At the moment I'm staying in and around Mangaf where our company transit apartments are - I have found a sultan centre nearby (kind of like a warehouse) and the supermarket at Al Kout that looks nice.
Does anyone know any other supermarkets around that sell most things?
Also, I'm looking to buy some 'oriental foods' - sort of the stuff I would buy in China town in London. Does anyone know a good place to go? I guess with the large filipino / chinese communities there should be some markets somewhere.
Don't suppose anyone knows a good place to buy Itialian ingredients (if there is any?). I'm thinking 00 flour and other stuff like that - might be a bit too specialised but will see.
Any help appreciated. Thanks Andrew

Good Day Andrew;
Yep you can try AL BAHAR Supermarket and Kabayan Supermarket in Fahaheel. To find the place quite tricky, but it is near the Makkah Street near the Burger King....

Govt Coops (every neighborhood has them) have their profits capped at 8% and so much cheaper than sultan center
mishref and mansouriya coops are nice the new bayan one as well
ask a philipino where they buy food there is a grocery store that has a lot of pino foods, asian etc down town
lulu hypermarket and city center are good as well
caerfour at 360 mall and dean and duluce would have high HIGH end ingredients
