What to do during Ramadan during the day?

Hi,

My wife comes over for a holiday during Ramadan (it was the only time she could make it) which is fine in the evenings, but I was wondering what is open during the day?

Are malls open? Supermarkets like Carrefour? Cinemas? If someone could let me know what is open and the times they are open that would be a big help. Obviously during the evening everything is open and bussling, but I'm particularly interested in during the daytime.
