Hello there,

I am lebanese and considering moving to kyrgzstan and starting a new life there...I speak Arabic , English, and a Lil russian (basic russian)...

I just want to get advice from expats living there...I am considering openning a small coffee shop with 4 or 5 tables in bishkek, but i have no idea about rents and prices. ( would 10,000 dollars be enough to start a small business like the above???) do i need an approval from the ministry or a kyrgz partner?

Are people freindly in Bishkek? are there alot of expats? Is police nice or they would be mean with expats?

How much would a small family (2 people) need to spend per month ( on food and every day basics)? 100 dollars (4700 com)? 200 dollars 9400 (Com)?

Are the houses and appartments safe at night?would it be safe to live in the bishkek suburbs?

I appreciate any help that can be provided on any of my above questions....looking forward to moving to kyrgzstan and meeting all of you...
