I just stumbled on to expatexchange and am going to be in Vientiane, Lao next month, in mid April for the New Year's celebration.

I will be travelling with two Lao citizens that speak English very well, but neither of whom have spent much time in Vientiane.

It would be terrific to meet an expat or two who wouldn't mind meeting in Vientiane for a snack or a meal, while I'm in town, and letting me pick your brain a bit about life in Lao.

I have an interest in spending an extended period of time in Lao or Thailand, or both.
