Hi we are seeking some infomation in regards to living in Lao. We understand the law in regards to non married Lao and foreigner's living together is illegal but is this law the same for expats living in Lao? we are both Australian but are not married.

I am Australian and am married to a Lao woman and based in Vientiane. I have never heard of foreigners living together being hassled by police.
