My wife is a Lao citizen and we have a house in Vientiane. I come and go from there on my leave breaks form wherever I am working and get a 30 day visa on arrival at VT airport. Is the some way for me to get a multiple entry visa ??

There is no such thing as a multi entry tourist visa. What you are after is a business visa. This will entitle you to work as well. They last a year and give multi entry. However you either need to be employed to get one, or pay $500 or so to someone to "arrange" one for you.
