Good grief, how can anyone answer this question unless we know what your occupation is?

In terms of nursing, nothing would be available for you. You might try the French Embassy clinic if your French is ok, or perhaps the Australian Embassy clinic. If you don't speak Lao you would find it very hard to get a marketing position. You might be able to pick up some teaching work.

Do you still maintain your RN, do you speak a foreign language. When was the last time you did patient care.
my wife and I are also moving back to Asia and will most likely live in Lao, She is also an active registered nurse with language skills.

I would have thought that the expat community would have a clinic or 2. I am an RN too most likely moving to Laos.

Have you considered trying the Australian Embassy as they have a clinic attached to the embassy. Maybe check online for the French or other clinics contact details. NGO Agencies or UN.

As I said.If you want a job in Laos, which is very hard to get, get on the internet and do some research. As an accountant you may get a job with an NGO or with the UN.

There is also www.jobslao.com or http://www.findinlaos.com/forums/looking-to-hire/
Things are moving fast in Vientiane but international jobs are still rare.

Go to www.worklivelaos.com. They provide lots of information on working in Laos and also help with relocation and housing.
