Hello I want to visit Laos, I have never been, can you help me plan my trip. Here is what I would like.

1: have a cultural experience
2: eat local food
3: visit most natural and beautiful places
4: trekking is a possibility
5: sights and scenery most important
6: stay and visit local towns

An online search will find all of those things.
Elephant riding in southern Lao and stay at an eco lodge there
Khon Phaepeng waterfalls in southern Lao where you can pick a live fish out of a tank and have it cooked in front of you
There are tour companies who will take you for overnight stays in local villages
Bike riding tours
rafting

Just Google it.

Most countries can get a 30 day visa on arrival at Wattay airport Vientiane
Plenty of great guesthouses and hotels in Vientiane.
