As far as I know they are not any. You will have to go back to the teaching gig. or maybe some editing. Automatic life of poverty. Teaching here is charity work. They are also cracking down on teaching under an authors agreement here. If you stayed here for a year and did not register this could be a problem for you. The most you can make teaching is 1500 lt a month, and that includes the huge gaps in your schedule. A class at 7 am, then noon, then 4 pm, takes 12 hours in the end. There are soooo many holidays here too. You lose at least 4 days a month.

I would have to storngly disagree that 1500Lt is the maximum you can make from teaching in Vilnius. In my first schooll, I earned 1500Lt plus free rent in a spacious modern apartment in Zverynas. In addition, I did a lot of privates, so in total, I probably earned around2800-3000 Litas per month.
The second school paid around 3200litas per month(no apartment) and with my privates, I earned around 3600 -3800 litas per month.I didn't save much as I ate out a lot but I had a relatively good standard of living in Vilnius. As for your timetable, yes it stretches out for a good part of the day but sure that comes with the territory and I didn't mind it

Hi,
most employment contacts here are done on a personal basis. I don't know how effective I would be but you can drop me a line at www.zverte.com and I'll see what I can do.

Just google in CV + lietuva and you'll pick up the CV sites like www.cvonline.lt etc. How successful they are, I can't say.
