Nice idea but a bit late for this year. Locals usually go to a performance around New Year's but this year the ones we wanted to attend sold out early. You should look for tickets in October and November.
Christmas day is celebrated at home with the family, i.e. with the parents or grandparents, not with a boyfriend/girlfriend (unless they go to visit the parents/grandparents). The big event is Christmas eve when twelve different dishes are served.
The anticipation of a US Xmas is not found here. Presents are not put out a couple of weeks in advance to torment the recipients. The day after Xmas is spent with friends.
If you have Lithuanian friends, remember to send them SMS holiday greetings on 25-26 Dec.
Have a nice holiday season.
