Hi there,
We will be living in Vilnius for at least two years, we are from the UK and have two children ages 1 and 2. I am trying to find out what there is for children and Mums such as parent/toddler groups, swimming lessons, soft play, farms or anything interactive/educational. Anyone have any ideas??? It would be great to meet up with other English speaking families although we are determined to learn as much Lithuanian as possible!
Thanks

Hello, please let me know how you get on. My husband is Lithuanian and we have children-1 & 3. We are planning to move to Lithuania within the next few years (probably Vilnius). Here in the UK, we have a busy social life with the children-groups, etc so would be very interested to know what it would be like for us there. I hope it all works out well for you :)

Hi there,
We are not moving to Vilnius until December but my husband is there now and has been telling me about the cold snap! Get wrapped up!
If you are on Facebook, the best place to look is the Foreigners in Vilnius page. I have met some lovely people through this and although we haven't met yet, we've been communicating via Facebook and I have learned quite a bit about what's going on. Will definitely keep in touch and hopefully get together in December, my eldest is 2 and I have another baby due in 2 weeks time!
Best of luck with the new school, I am sure you'll meet loads of helpful parents there!
