Anyone looking for an appartment, or two in Kaunas? :)

Hey expateers,

How you all doing? Hope all's well.

I'm an expact from Lithuania actually to US but already am reading books on my next life paradise. I do however still own outright two apartments in Kaunas Kalnieciu raj. Pakrascio gve. Both are two bedroom, both are on the same floor and only thing separating them is a wall.

Idea was to either knock down the whole wall and make a nice 4 bedroom + large den and 2 full bath apartment but as my parents divorced, a family member passed away and even my pooch a month later, I took it as a sign to act on my then approved American green card application. So here I am 12 years later still struggling between LA and NYC and renting the apts for basically nothing over in Kaunas.

My mother went back a couple years ago and renovated both I think and we're still essentially sitting on them. But if anyone is interested in a nice neighborhood with a full open highschool stadium right outside your balcony and kitchen windows (the highschool I actually attended "Rasos Gimnazija") feel free to give me a call or email, not sure how this forum works really but hope I'm not braking any rules with this post and maybe some lucky expat would like to give this rare opportunity a go?

Really unique and inconspicuous opportunity to settle and make it your own. Heck, you can go all NYC style and make it 6 bedrooms by turning one kitchen into a bedroom and one hallways + bath into another, or go LA McMansion style and open it all up. :)

Also have a nice secluded plot ~20km outside Kaunas with a natural spring and a couple small lakes on the property, apple, pear, cherry trees and a planted living fence 400meters in length I think, that should be at least 20ft high right now, but not sure about that one, it's like a dream spot for me to build something spectacular if I hit the jackpot some day :D There should be remnants of a large barn, a house and some interesting antique outside structure with a wood burning clay stove.

Man just typing this all makes me want to go back now... grrr... :) anyway, take care and have fun in my little Lithuania!
