Macedonia have big and robust health care system.
The primary health is carried by the personal doctors. They are your primary health issue point of contact with the whole system. If you are expat you can have primary health insurance which is payed by your company in Macedonia. This mean that going to the doctor for you is FREE. Receiving therapy (shots and etc.) are also free. If you have Macedonian health card, most of the health services for you are free. But if you do not posses health card, you can still visit primary personal doctor, but then you pay for the expenses.
The prices are very affordable. Primary examination by your private practice doctor can be from 5 to 10 euro. Examination from a specialist doctor (for example: gynecologist, neurologist, cardiologist and etc) can range from 20 to 50 euro. Receiving therapy (shots and etc.) can cost you from 2 to 4 euro.
I will be happy to answer any specific issue regarding health care.
