I''m in the Bangsar area (close to Kuala Lumpur) and the hot spot around here is Bangsar Baru (or optionally called Bangsar Telawi). It consist of three different streets (Telawi 1, Telawi 2 and Telawi 3) which have lots of different stores, shops, restaurants and night clubs. Also, on Sunday nights (if I remember correctly) they set up a street market. Anything and everything for sell there. personal side note: I''m actually not ""mature enough"" to qualify for expatriatism yet and I seek employment. " Hi, Tom I live close to my office -- used to live in your neighborhood, but the commute got to me, so when I got a ""steal of a deal"" on an apartment downtown, I took it. The area around my condo and office, where Jln Bukit Bintang crosses Jln Sultan Ismail, is full of shops, restaurants, bars, and night life. A little too much nightlife, sometimes -- the one tradeoff for walking to my office instead of fighting traffic is the thundering weekend bass from a nearby disco, particularly when it''s a holiday.
