Recently divorced.Moved to KL.Lived in s'pore since birth and lived in Tokyo for 10 yrs.Was married to a japanese.Mother to a 7 yrs old boy.Cannot find a school that will accept my son.He holds a japanese passport/citizenship.Japanese school won't accept him without his dad living in Malaysia.International schools cost a bomb.Anyone out there with any advice/help?Will greatly appreciate.Thank you.

Hi Lina - this is a tough one. About the only thing I can think of that may be of any help is to approach the Japanese Embassy as your son is a Japanese citizen. Speaking to their Education Attache/Counsellor might help, or s/he might even put a little pressure on the Japanese schools.
