Good Morning! My partner and I + two kids (11 and 15) would like to stay in Penang for the month of December. Would LOVE short-term rental referrals, best books on Penang and surrounding area and any and ALL tips you'd generously offer. What's the weather like in December? Hoping to escape Portland, OR gloom, explore a new culture, determine whether Penang is a good fit for part-time living, and enjoy ourselves! Thank you so much! - Lisa

Lisa, what is your requirement on the size and type of place?

2K sq feet? RM 5K/mth? condo? landed? How long do you intend to stay?

In Malaysia, its either rain or shine.

Hello Lisa,

My wife and I are also in the stages on planing our move to Penang and we use a site called iProperty.com. This is a very good site for rental info on anywhere in Malaysia.

Copy and past the link below and you will see what they sent us yesterday for rentals in Penang.

You can go there and setup your own requirements for your rentals and they will send info everyday.
