I'm a single Muslimah, revert and considering Malaysia as a place to relocate and settle too. Where would you recommend a new expat, single and muslim, move to?
Thanks!

All across Malaysia, there are mosques. You need not worry of this.
What kind of visa are you coming on?

@rogerjohn. Don't need a visa for the first 90 days, I believe. I've non-committal at this time. Do you live there? Are you a national?

@rouilliew yes I am a national, Chinese.
Where to relocate will depend on your budget I guess.
On the west part of the Peninsular Malaysia, the cheapest place to retire would be at Ipoh.
Penang, KL, Johor are slightly more expensive, but that is where most of the expats are at.
Most of them whom are retired here are on the Malaysia My 2nd Home Program (MM2H) which gives them a 10 years renewable visa.
For more info on the the MM2H, please visit
