Hi there - I have just arrived from Durban South Africa, and was wondering whether there are perhaps groups for South African expats in Johor Bahru?

hey...I don't know so much about JB, but there is definitely an expat community in KL. There is also a South African restaurant here, called Out of Africa if you wish to touch back on home meals. Look out for the South African Independence day. The High Commissioner (Embassy) will have a party where all South African Expats generally meet. All the best on your stay in Malaysia. it is quite a beautiful country :)
