Hi...Everywhere we stay it will not be safe. But we take precautions and you may choose places to stay where there are gated n guarded compound area. There are plenty of international school in Johor but more in KL. You may search in website MM2H application to apply as 2nd home in Malaysia .

Hi Jola,

Johor won't be very friendly if you aren't from there especially to foreigners. Alot of them speak Malay or Chinese. Since you have kids you should be looking to stay in places like KL near polis stations and definitely gated. I would strong suggest moving there and renting or buy a property in a gate community. My mother has a few houses in gated community so if you every need a place to rent you can contact me. +60197799860 Natasha.
