If i am planning to start a jewllery busines in Malaysia dealing in gold and diamonds, is there a prerequisite to insure the business. Is there an organization that i can check with? Which insurance company will you recommend to insure my Jewellery business in Melakka, Malaysia?

You need to get a broker to help you as most insurer in MY are not into super high risk underwriting.

Like what Roy replied, there are not many in Malaysia who take up such risky business. I know ja assure operates in Malaysia, KL. My company too insured our jewellery & diamond business at www.ja-assure.com. So far, i have no complains with their rates or service. In fact they helped us with more than just insurance. They helped with our security setup too. In that way, i am impressed with their company.
