US sex offenders in Mexico

In our community of roughly 250 Americans we have one registered sex-offender, who was assessed as highly likely to repeat his crimes. We have one guy wanted for sex crimes against children in Oregon, and one gay man who with a following of teenage boys.

US sex-offenders do not have to register in Mexico, and families tend to turn a blind eye to what goes on with their children as long as the offender provides them some benefit.

How many US sex offenders have found a haven here in Mexico?
