I can certainly understand your motivation, but you may want to slow down and do some more homework. First, you can't just go to Mexico and start working. A foreigner in Mexico must have government permission from Mexican Immigration in order to work and that will be for a specific position at a specific location. A job change would require new applications. This permission is added to your visa, an FM3 or FM2, which has foreign income requirements and is also tied to your US vehicle's temporary importation. It is much more complicated than you think and they are getting more and more strict about it. Mexico will welcome you for up to 180 days as a tourist, no strings attached, but you must then leave the country or have already applied for a visa 30 days before your FMT tourist permit is to expire.
