Is service decent & reliable? How much per month?

Service is spotty at best. Near bigger cities is better...Providers just do not spend $$$ to upgrade service. Best to direct question to area u plan to settle..We are in Cozumel..80% sucks..only small area has fiber-optics.

It is good in Puerto Vallarta. Lots of fiber going in.

I was wondering the same thing about the US. Not having been to the states in sometime, has the service improved or is it still slow and costly?

Internet service in my area is perfect and fast.
Watch movies and downloads my ibooks.
We are located outside the city of
Chetumal where there is not much cell signals but an internet provider from town installed a tiny dish to capt his signal. All is good.
Move towards my area.
My home is for sale

Don't be mad please but I do not see $520k worth of house. Maybe if you had more than 1 outdoor photo of house that was not at a distance and looked like a thumbnail. Maybe pics of the beach shoreline would help too. Even the indoor pics do not punch you in the nose in excitement. I really am just being honest. I clicked on your ad because I was interested but after getting there I list interest quick at $520k. GL and I wish you best! Show your palace gem off with better pix!!!

Thank you for sharing your opinion on what you have seen from my website. Building in our areas is at high cost, installing electricity, water purification, internet sat just to name a few id at high cost. Living overseas has never been a cheaper way of life. I have liver and worked on many continente and chose to retire in Mexico or in Belize, not for the simpler to accomlish things but enjoy a slower way of life. I read some of your questions elsewhere, re sending money and i suggest you speak with your bank at home and google the banks in Mexico or in Belize and their requests to open a bank account is detailed within their site. Atlantic bank in Belize explains very well. Transfering money to live on, it is nowadays done online, but the preliminaries are a little hectic here and in usa. I would not recommend to have social security transfering overseas. You can do that on your own. Re the pictures you have seen are made by myself. You are welcomed to visit and see by yourself. Pictures can be deceaving. Mine are real. My property is locater on the bahia, and there is no sandy beach but we have a wall and steps to the water. Everyday I swim with my pets. My property legality is updated and there will be no surprise. It is furnished, with the car. Move in ready. We live in our home since 2008, we built it. Of course the interior pictures look crowded with my personal decoration. It is not a show room. Why a house sounds expensive? How is it built? Where? My property is built very strongly and we supervised the architect and builder and even the work men to make sure that all was done well. To compare with house in Playa del Carmen for instance, I would bet, the construction had been done rapidly with lesser quality materials. This is just my opinion.

Cheers

Really? In what areas? Who is the provider. I can't find decent service except through TELMEX by installing a home phone line to qualify. There;s got to be something better.

What kind of a statement is that???
Not a smart one, for sure.
Our home is being built with the finest materials and by an excellent developer.

I would want to be right on a gorgeous beach for the price you are asking.

I'm in Ajijic and the WiFi service here is excellent and cheap. Under $20 per month for phone and Internet.

Wifi ain't cheap, unless you sign contract for a year. Many people just sit @ Starbucks or McDonalds to avoid getting stuck with a contract.....

its cheaper than the US for sure..in our area Cablemas and Telmex are the main carriers..a few start ups are coming, maybe..Fiber optic is not in our area yet..supposedly coming, for the past 3 yrs..Talk to your neighbors, location often times has something to do with service..
