Hi, I'm moving to Yap in a couple of months for a job and was wondering what sort of items I should bring and what I should expect. Should I bring enough money to buy a cheap used car? What sort of activities are there? Is it easy to travel to and from Yap? Thank you.

Traveling to Yap is easy by Continental Airline. Getting around the island is also easy by car. Things are on the expensive side because most everything is imported. Gas is around $4.50 a gallon. U.S. currency is used there. Weather is normally hot year round and usually humid. Temperature is in the upper 80. Ounce you're use to it, it is not too bad. It is a tropical island so be prepare.
