Hi I'm English and he is a Muslim. I'm going to live here in England for now and he will live in Morocco until my youngest is 18. He has been to England several times so it's not a problem. Seems to me that the papers they need can change. Appreciate your help, Regards Karen

If your BF is a visitor to the UK it would be relatively easy for you to marry there but there may be some reason he is unwilling to do this.I suppose you've looked at these forums about Western women marrying Tunisians,Turks and Moroccans ect. because there are a few red flags being thrown up here.

Hi Clidika, This question comes very regularly on this forum & every possible angle has been explored. I would therefore suggest that you research past questions and answers first. You will obviously also need to examine the relevant Moroccan government websites and those for the UK regarding your plans for marriage.

Hi I just got married to my moroccan bf. Depending where in morocco u get married u will need a lot of paperwork.
From the uk u will need to take * police record check * birth certificate *decree absolute if divorced.
U will need these translated in morocco into arabic but also note that u once the papers from uk have been issued to u, you need to marry within 3 months otherwise u will have to get them again.
Also upto 3 recent wage slips, and probably proof of address and rent.
In morocco u will need * moroccan medical check * police record check * letter of no impediment from British embassy in rabat * proof of nationality from British embassy in rabat * copy of your passport and entry stamp into morocco
There is a lot of running around to do to get everything stamped as well in morocco and going between the court and the adoul. expect to pay extra money if u want it done quickly. It took me and my husband nearly 3 weeks. But well worth it.
