Hey everyone, is their much work available for an English only speaking woman in tangiers ? I can only work part time as I have health issues, my profession was care work but I understand Moroccans care for their own at home. Hoping to find some kind of part time work. May be moving late this year or early next year, husband is Moroccan. Thanx in advance..lynn

Lynn,sorry to say your chances of finding work in Tangier are extremely remote.Even if you were to find something with an English speaking expat family the pay is only about 70p.UK an hour, about 10% of what you would get at home.Taking into account you saying you have 'health issues ' Morocco is going to be really tricky as you will need private health care as the public health service here is a disaster.Any Moroccan that can afford it and even those who can't usually go private.If you have an underlying problem you need to stay close to your health provider,Seeing that you have a Moroccan husband I am somewhat surprised he has not explained the facts to you.Good Luck.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me, I have been twice to Casablanca where my husband lives, and now we are married it.has became a.problem trying to get him here to the u.k..as we must have much money if I don't have a good salary which I don't as I can't work much..I am afraid also of the intense heat as I have only been in November and may, so the thought is to move to tangier where it may be cooler ?..I understand finding work may be an issue and the health issues being another worry, but we don't know what else to do to be together..thank you and any advice you can give is much appreciated

hi Debbie ..thank you for your reply, so it would be possible if for example if I had someone in my family who had a good salary could co sponsor?...I didn't think this would be possible..I do have Whatsapp yes...can u give me any more info on that..thank you
