Car insurance for Morocco

I am driving from England to Morocco and am going to stay three months in Morocco. At the moment I am struggling to find a company in the UK that will insure my car in Morocco. I was wondering if anyone knew of companies that will, failing that does anyone know how much it costs to insure my car once I get to Morocco for three months? Thanks Tom

Morning Tom,
Yes it's very hard to get insurance for Morocco in the UK, I think LV did it but only if you have insurance with them.
Depends where you enter, I humbly suggest Tangier Med, when you leave customs, there's some portacabins on the left before you leave the port, some do insurance, and some currency exchange.
In terms of cost, it's about €90 for 10 days, the last time I got 30 day cover was 3yrs ago and that, I think, was about €150, I don't think you can get 90 days, I did ask. I think it's 5,10 or 30 day cover, you may have to renew, but that's easy, insurance offices in any major town.
Insurance is 3rd party only.
I assume you know about the D16.
Happy travels, Mark
