I was born in Germany and both my parents are Filipinos. I spent only 13 years of childhood in Germany and I moved to the Philippines to enter highschool. Even though i was born and raised in Germany, I still feel alienated and that I don't belong. I got often bullied at school instead. I was very unhappy. But after I moved to the Philippines, I felt that I belonged and I feel so much at home. It is home sweet home for me.

After living abroad for 8 years and moving back to America I felt like a foreigner. I am moving out again and will never ever move back. I was not repatriated back in any way shape or form. Good luck on your research.
