The Time Has Come to Plan My Dream...

Being a lover of the Caribbean, my spirit has always been at home near the beautiful blue waters and the laid back lifestyle. I've traveled to different countries (D.R., Mexico, Grand Cayman, Jamaica) just for purposes of leisure. Now I'm ready for my vacations to serve dual purposes of both leisure and research for what I plan to be my new home. I am in the very early stages of research and am planning a trip next month to Punta Cana or Mexico. I've worked for my current employer for the last 14 years and traditionally I'd still have at least 20 more years to wait for the gift of retirement. I'm 39 years old, and if I was prepared to relocate in the next month or so....I'd be out of here. Anyone who has relocated to the Caribbean, I would greatly appreciate your feedback on how to get started, and begin preparation for relocating to the place of my dreams.
