Now, Vietnam visa on arrival for foreigner is the popular way. And most of travellers and businessmen love to get visa at the airport when they arrive. From July 2015, the government has been signed new law for 15 days visa exemption to 6 countries who hold the passport of: United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Belarus. The new law is valid from July 2015 to next July 2016. So, before you decide to apply visa for your trip you must check if you are really need visa to Vietnam.

But you should be careful in applying for visa exemption for Vietnam. Because you have 15 days only, and it is valid for single entry and it is not effective for you to enter and exit multiple times in 30 days from the last exit Vietnam.

Traditionally you need to get a Vietnam visa in your passport from a local embassy before entering the country. However, it’s also possible to apply for a Vietnam visa online and collect it at the airport on arrival in Vietnam.

While a bit more involved than other countries, Vietnam does allow foreign travelers to obtain a “Visa on Arrival” or VOA at the airports in Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. It’s important to note the visa must be applied for in advance online BEFORE arrival in Vietnam. There is an emergency case at the airport if you forget to apply visa in advance, you even can get visa stamp for 15days with a little bit more money for this visa. So don’t worry about visa to Vietnam, it is now easier than ever.
