I would try the LIve on the Ocean Waves branch of the Lonely Planet forum for this one as well as sailing specific forums if you haven't already done so.

I don't think you will get any bites in this forum, not that kinda crowd if you know what I mean.

You may also want to add what YOUR sailing experience is. As someone who has done a fair amount of sailing myself, I would want to know that up front before giving your post serious consideration, so you might as well include it up front.

What qualifications you have ie. US 'six pack' or UK 'Yacht Masters' etc. What passages you have done, etc. And perhaps most importantly, what boat you intend to do this on. ie. Hunter 42 Passage or a 12 foot plywood dingy. ;-)

You ask for people with previous experience. Then you need to write what anyone with experience will want to know about.
