International Living Magazine

Newbie here - just starting to wrap my head around moving to paradise (or at least close) in retirement (which is still too far away) possibly Mexico, Central America, South America. International Living Magazine got me started thinking more seriously about this (tip of the hat to aggressive marketing on their part) but in my early days of poking around this site I've seen a few disparaging comments toward the magazine. To be fair, a few good remarks as well.

What is the prevailing opinion of IL Magazine? Good resource or not?

Obviously I will use many, many sources over the next several years as I ramp up planning and thinking about it all but don't want to get off to a bad start with a source many may not like.
