" Hi, Lily. I live in NYC so my view is a little different than that of people living upstate. But, I would have to say that everyone is gradually adjusting to life after the terrorist attacks. Yes, people feel less safe than they used to feel. We''re learning to live like the rest of the world. We''re being warned not to leave bags unattended and to watch out for people acting suspiciously, etc. In general most people are feeling both tremendous sadness and anger about 9/11 and tremendous pride in our ability to come together during a time of crisis. As for upstate New York, I would not worry that you will be moving to a place where people are terrified to leave their houses. People are getting back to normal, living their lives and moving forward. Hope this helps, Betsy "
