I am due to move to Hawaii later on this year. I am a Brit Green Card Holder and my wife is American. A few years ago we lived in Fresno, California - but I hated it so much we moved back to Germany, where I got a job with the US Air Force. This time round I want to be certain we want to go. We have never been to Hawaii before, and apart from the glossy stuff I've seen about Hawaii, does anybody have any info about the place, besides the weather. I know the house prices are pretty expensive, what are the job prospects and crime etc.. I am a quallified Computer Specialist and an Electrician by trade.

Went for my fingerprints in Honolulu this morning, appointment was for 9.00, turned up at 8.30, out by 8.45, real fast, real nice people. Next is the final interview, awaitng date.
