I need the name of an affordable hostel with private bath and an affordable area very near the beach in the Miami Beach area,could include Ft.Lauderdale area.I have 1000 usd to spend on a small furnished studio or 1 bdrm including utilities.My primary interest is to be near the beach and shopping.Thanks!!

Is the $1000 for a month or a week? I think you will need much more to be near the beach ... certainly not enough to be on the beach.

That might cost a little bit more, depending on your preferences. You can probably find something in that range, but it might not be as close to the water as you'd like.
