My husband and I are thinking of moving to the states next year. We are Canadian. My husband has dual citizenship and is covered for health care through the VA. We are thinking of moving to Sun City, by Hilton Head and live with his sister and her husband. They live in Dalzell Illinois and will be purchasing a house there. I would like some info re cost of health care, what you need to do to enter the states. Thanks.

Healthcare has becoming extremely expensive with Obamacare. It is literally bankrupting the middle class.

Can not help with process as I am a citizen.

While ObamaCare is so wrong in every way there are inexpensive alternatives. I have Christian HealthCare Ministries type of insurance and it cost me $150 for myself and the same for my daughter per month with only a $500 per year deductible. You and your doctor control the type of care you need and not someone else. I have been very happy with it and it complies with the statutes set up by what you need for coverage.
I have the insurance and live out of the country and most everyone else live in the USA with no problems. The testimonies are wonderful.
If you get the insurance remember me #223554 is my number and when someone signs up you get a unit credited the next month. Living on Social Security this insurance has been the best thing for me as my daughter has high medical needs. Living in the States under Medicaid I felt they put her through so much unnecessary medical treatments. A human guinea pig if you would. Now she is healthier than she ever has been even though she has all types of problems.
You may contact me and I would share more with you if you desire.
ObamaCare is horrible and the rates keep going up as my friends have all complained about it. My rates as all others on CHMInistries have remained the same. I have the gold plan of the $150 per month there are 2 other less expensive plans that you could choose from.
So moving back to the States should not have to be a nightmare for insurance reasons.

the above comments about the ACA are lies. why do you need info on healthcare if the VA covers it.

Best of luck on your move! I made a similar change a few years back. I used Furnishr.com when moving into my house and was very impressed with the ease of my move as a result. Furnishr handled all the logistics involved in the installation and set up of my custom furniture design.
