You asked regarding Expat Health Insurance. I found that I can use Christian Healthcare Ministries here in Bolivia for a fraction of anything else. I have a deductible for the year of $500, all other fees are covered. I purchased the Gold plan at $150 per month for me. The hospital here worked with me and the check is sent to your US address and they you pay the hospital, etc directly within 6 -8 weeks. I have not regretted getting this coverage.
