Hello all,
I am planning to travel to India and possibly have my kids have education there. I need advise about my house located in Kennesaw, GA, USA. Shall I sell it or lease it? It's still under morgage. Thank you in advance for your help.

I would definitely lease it. What if you ever want to come back from India?

Totally agree, dont burn your bridges. The only problem is as you still have a mortgage , renting it out maybe a problem, you need to clear it with the mortgage Co. and i would use a good property manager to rent it out for you. Give you some peace of mind

When we left the US and moved to the UK we were able to rent out home out. We eventually sold it as we decided that when we returned we didn't want to go back to Texas, so it is possible. We are living in Denver and are much happier than we were in the 11 years we spent in Dallas (no offense, the heat just wasn't for us).
