need roommate for 2-br apt in Pulchowk

I am a graduate student from the US in Nepal for the summer and I have finally found a beautiful furnished apartment. Only catch is that it's a 2-bedroom and I can't afford it on my own. 40,000 R per month (20,000 each) includes everything - hot water, wifi, etc - and it's fully furnished with a kitchen, TV, even a washing machine. I'm only here until August 6th but you could stay longer and find a new roommate after I leave. Let me know if you are interested, just reply to this post.

Well, I am also a graduate student from the US. I live in Thamel but moving back to US in Oct. I am not sure I will be able to afford Rs. 40,000 once you leave Nepal. However, we can talk about it if it is ok. My email is neepal977@yahoo.com or the email from this site too. Thanks!!

Hi,

I actually found a roommate and moved in a few weeks ago. We have someone who will be taking my room when I leave on August 6th, but she may be looking for someone for the second room once my roommate leaves a couple of weeks later. I will give her your email address so she can contact you.

I've also noticed a number of postings for apartments at places around here: Namaste Supermarket, Roadhouse Cafe, and the little grocery store next to Roadhouse are the ones I've noticed, in general I'd check out restaurants and grocery stores that cater to foreigners.
