Hey everyone. I'm relocating to Nepal in Mid October. So far it looks like we are flying out Oct. 12th. I was hoping to get some advice on how to get the belonging I need into the country. The baggage limits are so small now I'll have to fit my life into two check bags and one carry on. In the past we could check duffle bags but now the limit is 62 inches total and 50 lbs. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it. I need more luggage because I am bringing medical supplies as well as my personal stuff. Has anyone completed the TEAFL course and been able to make a living that way? I will be staying on a business visa so if anyone has a business idea I am all ears. Sorry for so much in one post. I hope to hear from you all

Curtis

Just and update..We leave Oct. 11th. I was hoping to talk to some people before leaving. I'm going to need a motorcycle after I get settled in. If anyone knows where to get one at a good price let me know. Is there another message board people are using?

Hi,
its good that you are coming to Nepal. I think the best way to get your belongings is get get through sea cargo. If you have a business visa and willing to do something, it is better to decide after you come to Nepal and having seen around. As fact of getting motorbikes, there are plenty Indian motorcycles available.

enjoy your stay.
and all the best,
rajendra

Hi Curtis!

I am actively considering moving to Nepal for an extended period (want to find work there), and was curious how you obtained a business visa without a Nepali sponsor company? The visa form seems to require this info (and I don't have a Nepali sponsor).

Appreciate your help!

Have fun in KTM -- I'm jealous!!!!!

Mike
