Hi guys,
I have recently moved to Kathmandu for the next 6 months or a year from Ireland and am volunteering in a childrens project in Kapan, soon to be dividing my time between that and a womens' centre in Lamjung. Im really really enjoying it but I travel alone and am the only foreigner in the.. small.. organization, the only volunteer and the only fluent english speaker. I was wondering if there were any english speakers out there who are in a similar position to me and fancied making a friend!!

I am in KTM for one week ago and I am in the same situation: I like to live here but I would like to meet people and exchange about expatriate life.
I am a french student and I'm here for a training of 3 months. Im not fluent in english (as you can see ^^) but Im working on it.

je ne vois pas bien la date de ton séjour à KTM, je suis aussi française comme tu peux le voir et je recherche des personnes pour visiter et bouger sur KTM.
Je suis ici depuis 4 jours, je fais un stage dans une agence de Trek.

I have stayed at Sora Guesthouse a couple of times. Its in Lakeside Pokhara. Their rooms are $10-15/night and have hot water and bath tubs and internet. The owners keep it very clean and speak Japanese, Nepali and English.
